Questions
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device. There is no Her Empire account, and your goals, check-ins, notes, Love journal and photos are not copied to our servers. On the web they live in your browser's storage for this site. This also means we can't recover them for you, so keep a backup. The one exception: text you choose to send to First chat, SOS or profile import passes through our server to an AI provider to write a reply, and is not kept. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I back up or move my data?
Open Settings > Backup and tap Export JSON. On iPhone the share sheet opens: choose Save to Files, AirDrop or Mail. On the web the file is saved to your downloads. The file includes your photos. To bring it back, open Settings > Backup and tap Import a backup. Importing replaces everything on that device with the backup.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions, choose Her Empire and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period or free trial ends to stop the next renewal. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. On the web, paid plans can't be bought yet: the 7-day Pro trial there needs no card, nothing is charged, and it ends on its own.
How do I restore a purchase?
On a new or reset iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe, open Her Empire and tap Restore purchases in Settings or on the Pro screen. Restoring brings back Pro, not your plans and notes: import your backup file for those.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings and tap Delete all data. Everything on that device is erased right away and can't be recovered, so export a backup first if you want a copy. Deleting the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser, also removes it. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription: cancel it first as described above.
What if I'm in crisis?
Her Empire is a planning tool, not therapy or a crisis service, and this inbox is not watched around the clock. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency number now (911 in the US, 112 or 119 in Korea).
- United States: call or text 988 (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
- Korea: call 109 (Suicide Prevention, 24h) or 1577-0199 (Mental Health Crisis, 24h).
- Anywhere else: findahelpline.com
In the app, the same lines are in Settings > If you're struggling.
